The annual Whittington Course is now in its 16th year and on 22 May we hosted 30 year 10 students from the Harris Garrard Academy, Bexley. This year's course was organised and very ably lead by Freeman David MacQuarrie. Having disembarked from a river Clipper, the visitors were met at Canary Wharf Quay and walked to Barclays Bank for an excellent morning hosted yet again by Nick Wilkins, a Companion of the Company. A trip to the City on the Docklands Light Railway was followed by lunch at Guildhall where Freeman Claire Palmer and PM Barrie Stewart gave short presentations. We were also joined by PME Steve Neville and Steve Marshall. Nine Apprentices and Young Members mentored the Academy students who were each presented with an attendance certificate by the Master.
